Child Abuse
Children may witness or be victims of various forms of maltreatment. The entire dental team needs to be cognizant of the signs of child maltreatment and how to respond to it. Maltreatment may include physical and/or sexual abuse, human trafficking, neglect and/ or emotional abuse. This course will enable participants to recognize the overall signs of child maltreatment as well as the oral / head and neck manifestations.
