Course Description
Orthodontics
This course is designed to equip general dentists with the knowledge and skills to incorporate cosmetic orthodontic treatments into their practice. With over 50% of general dentists already providing some form of orthodontic care, understanding the principles of case selection, proper technique, and treatment efficiency is essential. This course focuses on the use of small diameter Nickel Titanium wires and tooth-colored brackets to achieve safe, predictable, and aesthetically pleasing results in a short amount of time. While not a replacement for comprehensive orthodontics, these techniques allow general dentists to address mild to moderate orthodontic concerns without the need for referral. By expanding their service offerings, dentists can enhance patient satisfaction and practice growth.
